Progress continues at Tripel, Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts’ latest craft-beer and small-production wine restaurant, which will open in the next few weeks in Playa del Rey. During the recent rains, Voo Doo Daddy-0, a well-known sign artist and gold-silver leaf designer in Southern California, began his gold-leaf work on the restaurant’s exterior windows. The windows on both sides of the entrance will read “Social Lubrication” and “Fine Food and Libations.”
