The interior phase of our update to a Midcentury ranch.  Originally a large home consisting of discreet small rooms, we sought to update the spaces by opening the home, and connecting them through light screens and large pocket sliding doors.  The ceilings were raised to the roof for two dramatic family gathering spaces centered around fireplaces.  The larger spaces were treated with attention to texture, material and detail.  The result fosters a greater family connectedness through transparency.
