Located along a well traveled residential street, the clients sought a modest expansion with the intention to utilize more of the front half of the home and its connection to the neighborhood. A subtle transformation of a 1950’s bungalow involved reworking the roof line to incorporate the new volumes in the front. A window deck allows the family to embraced the wild qualities of their home in the landscape.
